Cleta Jean McGinnis Mulder

Cleta Jean Mulder
Cleta Jean Mulder, 71, Salina, died Saturday, July 19, 2003.
Mrs. Mulder was born Cleta McGinnis on June 9, 1932, in Norton. She was a general laborer for the Kansas Historical Society in Topeka and had taught school in Hedville for two years.
She married Cleve E. Mulder on Jan. 15, 1950, in Norton at the family home.
She was a member of the Kansas Anthropology Association.
Survivors include her husband, Cleve of Salina; two sons, Larry J. of Salina and Loren H. of Pretty Prairie; a brother, Thomas McGinnis of Kansas; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
No services are scheduled.

Cleta Jean McGinnis was born on June 9, 1932 in Norton, Kansas, the daughter of Hugh and Christina (Michels) McGinnis. She was a graduate of Salina High School, Kansas Wesleyan University, and had attended Kansas State University to complete her Masters degree. Cleta was a laborer for the Kansas Historical Society for many years. She also had taught for two years at the Headville Grade School, and was a member of the Kansas Anthropology Association (KAA).

Cleta was married on January 15, 1950 in Norton, Kansas at the family home to Cleve Mulder and to this union were born two sons, Larry J. Mulder and his wife Kay of Salina; Loren H. Mulderand his wife Christie of Pretty Prairie, KS. She is also survived by a brother, Thomas McGinnis.
Cleta is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren,

A memorial service will be held at a later time.
